This magnificent 74 hectare vineyard estate is located in the heart of the historic and picturesque Luberon National Park, near the famous village of Gordes. With 54 hectares of vineyards, many different AOC wines are produced including AOC Cotes du Luberon and AOC Cotes du Ventoux wines made from such grape varietals as Syrah, Grenache, Marsanne, Roussanne, Clairette, Viognier, Merlot, Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon. The other 20 hectares on the estate are forest. The winery, built in 2001, has an ultra-modern vinification process in thermo-regulated stainless steel vessels. Its capacity is presently being increased to 600,000 litres. It also has two separate oak barrel vinification and ageing cellars which are separately air-conditioned to avoid microbiological cross-contamination.
The manor has 1500 sq. meters of living space, including large reception rooms, a library, a kitchen, a games room, a gym and 5 bedrooms with individual bathrooms. The main house has exquisite Louis XIII and XIV Chimneys, doors and other decorations. It also has spacious covered terraces and patios, a swimming pool, tennis court, and bowling alley, as well as a housekeepers’ apartment. In addition, a separate guesthouse has 3 independent rooms and bathrooms.
The winery has a separate entrance and also houses two apartments for employees. A separate building, some distance away from the winery, houses the agricultural equipment and an additional three apartments for employees.
